Reliable flash drive January 9, 2009 The 16GB flash drive is a good, reliable device, great for the transport of large files. I've used to to transfer entire photo collections! The cap prevents dust/debris from getting into the USB plug, which can affect how other USB drives read.
Great value January 7, 2009 I needed something to back up my computer on and this fit the bill perfectly. Good price-
Great Drive January 7, 2009 Nothing beats the Kingston brand.
Drive worked well, from the get go.
I kinda expected a slower drive based on the size...but no this drive just performs. I've had other kingston drives last a number of years, no problems.

Perfect physical size and storage capacity.
No-Nonsense Thumb Drive December 25, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
When the time came to look for a 16 gb thumb drive, I decided to go with Kingston DataTraveler based on one year of 100% positive experience with their 4 gb memory stick. So far I am glad I did. This 16 gb drive is sturdy and has a quality feel to it. Data transfer speeds are plenty fast for my backup needs, especially at the $32 price range. It took about 40 min to load up 15+ Gb worth of small files onto the drive.
The device is lightning fast to mount and stop. There is no pre-loaded adware. The cap attaches securely, just as tight as the one on the 4 gb thumb drive did, and I never encountered problems with the cap on the old one coming off. On the downside, there is no lanyard included, but for most people this is not a dealbreaker. I do not know how this memory stick will perform in the long term, but the older DataTraveler drives were known for their reliability.
Verdict: Solid product for the price.
