Love it. Love it. Love it. January 7, 2009 I bought one of these about a year and a half ago for a long trip to TN where I was going to be on a bus for 15 hours. I played it for 8 hours solid, then listened to it for another 3 hours over the next five days, and then, had another 8 hours on the battery on the way back to TX. All of that play time was achieved with no additional charge. One big plus this player has over a normal IPOD is the FM tuner which is built into the player. Ok, now for my gripes. I'm not a big fan of how the music selection system works with the player. It took some time to get used to, but now I have no problem with it.
Great little MP3 December 29, 2008 This is a great little MP3! Compact in size, easy to use and holds a decent amount of songs, pics and video. The only negative about this is there is no wall charger for it. To charge, it must be connected to the USB on my computer. The price is reasonable for a 2gb player.
great product December 6, 2008 Great product, easy to upload and easier to use. Great price and very fast shipping.
Great product for a great price! December 1, 2008 I was looking for a decent portable mp3 player w/o video and after much research and reading the reviews, I decided on the Samsung K3 2Gb. I have only had it a couple weeks now but it was extremely easy to setup (with windows media player I just created playlists and synced them with the K3) and easy to use. The sound quality is very good (for a device of this size) and I haven't had any issues with the battery life that others are stating...but I haven't use it for extended periods of time yet. My only complaints, if you can call them that, are: 1. there is no way to delete songs w/o connecting to your computer (might be a good thing to keep from accidentally deleting I suppose) and 2. there is no "stop" button, only a "pause/play" button (which may explain the battery life issue).
All in all this is a great mp3 player that looks great, is easy to use, and sounds really good! I highly recommend it! In fact my children are asking for the 4Gb for Christmas after seeing mine, and that is what they are going to receive (if they're good of course ;).
Doesn't hold a candle to the ipod November 17, 2008 This mp3 player is Samsung's answer to the ipod, however, it falls a bit short of the mark. The price is great but there are a few drawbacks. The battery doesn't seem to last nearly as long as the ipod's, the cable doesn't like to stay plugged in, and the software isn't as intuitive or user friendly as itunes.
This product earns 4 stars, though, mainly for the bargain price and the fact that it is actually a good mp3 player. Just not as good as the ipod.
