Product Description If you've never heard what Monster's proprietary Clean Power Stage 3 filter circuitry can do to maximize your equipment's performance, you're in for a pleasant surprise. Designed by world-renowned AC power expert Richard Marsh, Clean Power filters stop noise generated by the AC power line from damaging your component performance. This minimizes disturbances such as video "snow" and gives you the sharpest picture with maximum color contrast and detail. Audio reproduction will leap from your speakers with impressive clarity, depth, and imaging. A special ultra-high power audio filter delivers peak power for even the most demanding amp - without dynamic distortion. So, you can turn on your high power amplifier, and know it's always receiving peak power. HTS3500 also features a high sensitivity voltage meter. This is an indispensable diagnostic tool if voltage sags are plaguing your system, because you can continuously monitor the effect current has on your amplifiers and instantly detect a voltage sag.HTS3500 offers custom installers a convenient way of remotely activating switched outlets. This 12 volt, 2-conductor 1/8" miniplug jack integrates HTS3500 remote hookup easily into existing home automation systems.
Amazon.com Product Description The fact is, analog audio equipment is sensitive to a different type of noise than video, just as video is sensitive to a different type of noise than digital, and so on. In the past, manufacturers have used filters to combat the problem of noise introduced via power sources. Unfortunately, the filters were not optimized to attenuate at the different frequencies that are unique to digital, analog audio, and video realms. Products that managed to deliver truly cleaner AC power were thousands of dollars in price, out of reach for most people. Enter Head Monster Noel Lee. An uncompromising audiophile, Lee joined forces with Richard Marsh, the world's foremost expert on AC power, to develop affordable solutions to AC power problems. The result? Monster Clean Power. |

Pictured is the HTS5100. | More Than Just Surge! -Monster Clean Power The following overviews of Monster's isolated, specially tuned Clean Power filters demonstrate the methodology behind Clean Power's development. The higher the Clean Power stage, the more advanced the noise filtration. The more advanced the noise filtration, the higher the level of component-to-component isolation. Isolated Clean Power Digital Filters Optimized to reduce noise generated by digital equipment digital filters isolate digital components from connected analog audio and video components for maximum rejection of interference. Isolated Clean Power Video Filters Optimized to reduce noise generated by video equipment, video filters isolate video components from connected digital and analog audio components for maximum rejection of interference. Isolated Clean Power Analog Audio Filters Optimized to provide maximum noise rejection for sensitive analog audio components, audio filters isolates audio components from connected digital and video components for maximum rejection of interference. Isolated Clean Power Ultra-High Current Filter Optimized for maximum noise rejection, ultra-high current filters provide maximum current to high power components such as surround sound amplifiers. Reference Home Theater Power Monster PowerCenters also offer the most comprehensive home theater system protection available, featuring higher joule ratings for faster acting, full capacity surge protection. Monster's Multiple SurgeGuard and Tri-Mode Circuitry instantly detects any voltage surge or spike and immediately suppresses it before it can reach your components. And, for your total peace of mind, the latest generation of Monster Home Theatre Reference PowerCenters come with higher Connected Equipment Guarantees (CEGs).
Unlike other surge protectors, the PowerCenters' ultra low-loss RF circuitry provides maximum protection with virtually no signal loss, especially important with the advent of HDTV. In addition, all PowerCenters display current draw and voltage.
Monster recognizes that convenience is vital, too. The PowerCenters feature component-assigned color coding with matching power cord labels for easy identification, and all are rack mountable, for easy integration into custom installed rack mount systems.
Get All The Performance You Paid For With Monster Power's Home Theatre Reference PowerCenters, you'll get the best possible audio and video performance from your home theater system.

Great product...if you can find it cheap May 13, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
However, I give only 3 stars for value. For what this unit does, it should cost $175 at the most. I have one (which I found new for $169) and use it as a power center for powering up my home theater in sequence. It has a 12 volt tigger that works well with the tigger output from my Outlaw Audio pre/pro. It does a nominal job at "cleaning up" the power - the power stages of your components (unless they were made before 1950) should do more than an adequate job of "cleaning the signal" so that should never be the selling point of one of these units.
U CAN'T GO WRONG W/ 3500 CLEAN MONSTER POWER May 3, 2007 I purchased this product after extensive online researching and field viewing in stores such as CC and BB. I paid 137.00 in Sep 2006. Received the product NEW and fast. I use it for Samsung LCD HDTV, PS2 and HD DVD player. Also, surround sound system. I know I have clean sound and picture using the 3500. I have no complaints, it does what it is built to do. If you have high end sound and picture electronics, at least get something to protect it, recommend the 3500.
Excellent buy April 8, 2007 I don't know how well it really works but I feel safer using the Monster Reference PowerCenter HTS 3500 MKII. up grading from the Monster power bar 1100. I chose the HTS 3500 MKII for it's rear inputs giving me a cleaner install AND THE PRICE WAS RIGHT..
Worth it January 16, 2007 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Many people think this product is a concept looking for a problem that does not exist. They are wrong. My 5 channel power amp used to make relatively loud noises intermittantly but that is gone now. Less hiss too. I don't have time to tell you all of it but its a worthwhile expenditure for your home theater.
Monster Reference PowerCenter January 15, 2007 Visually appealing, except the center blue LED may be a bit bright to some, but I like it. The unit shows true power indication on its voltage meter that has a nice blue lit backing. Easy set-up. Provides switched and unswitched outlets. The time delay is a nice feature for providing power to your audio components, this helps eliminate the thump that can happen when powering up your A/V components together. Also provides surge protection to your cable and telephone lines.
