Another reviewer offered the setup codes for this unit but wouldn't answer e-mail so I ended up buying one just to get them for the one I already owned. It would be my pleasure to give them to anyone who needs them. E-mail me at waynenorth44001@comcast.net and I will send you a copy. If you are looking for them anywhere else, give up. If you have an Apex tv, use the Toshiba codes.

Overall, I love this remote. It is the first remote I found that can handle every device function I try. Many of the devices have just a few codes too, which is nice. I only have a few reservations about this, and they are small. Literally the device buttons are too small. I have large hands, but good eyes, and I find my self having to squint to read the device buttons. The layout is nice, but I would prefer the dvd menu operation buttons to be up by the channel and volume and the VCR buttons to be elsewhere. I still think this is a great remote functionally. I nitpic only to show I am capble of finding room for improvement. Jensen was recently purchased by Thomson, the owner of the GE and RCA brands of electronics, among others. So expect a shake up. I phone them, and found them to be mostly helpful. They did not however steer me to the fact "General instrunments" is the "Brand" of my cable box remote, as opposed to "motorola" like its logo suggests. Once I learned that, the remote runs the DVR/cable like a pro.

I think the remote is great, except when I try to turn the volume up on my audio reciever it turns the volume up on my tv. Which is something they should have thought about. As far as codes, they were very easy to find on the internet at www.jensen.com
